Day 1

  • Effective Communication

    • The key differences between criticism and constructive feedback
    • The power of effective communication, both positive and negative
    • The way in which you communicate has a massive impact on your team.
    • The “when” and “how” to communicate in group format or on an individual basis
    • What inhibits effective communication with your team and tools you can utilise to assist with this.
    • The “when” and “how” of assertive communication

  • The One-on-One Coaching Discussion (the employees agreed roadmap for success)

    • What defines a successful one-on-one discussion and why this is non-negotiable in today’s workplace.
    • Defining the vital impact of the individual’s belief system (company, products, self, target) and the impact this has on their results.
    • Clearly defining the non-negotiable expectations of the role and requirements for both the individual and manager.
    • A clear understanding of the individual’s personal goal.

Day 2

  • The One-on-One Coaching Discussion (continues) 

    • How to discuss and agree to the individual Minimal Acceptable Standards (M.A.S) required to achieve the company objectives and the personal goal.
    • Agreeing to and defining the expectations of both the individual and the manager role in achieving the company objectives and personal goal.
    • Ensuring that the performance measurements and consequences are agreed and understood.
    • Discussing and agreeing to any assistance and coaching needs for the individual to achieve their commitments.

  • Time leadership and productivity

    • Establishing the manager’s high yield activity, effective time-blocking and managing energy leaks.
