The first installment of I AM AN ENTREPRENEUR took place in Johannesburg on Saturday, 25 March 2017 with a spotlight on how to go from entrepreneur to business mogul.
This edition of I AM AN ENTREPRENEUR included discussions and insights from Jabu Mabuza and Musa Kalenga on what it takes to build and sustain a successful business.
The importance of a man like Jabu Mabuza is more than just the amazing story of a taxi driver turned shareholder of Sphere, chairman of Telkom, president of Business Leadership South Africa and chairman of SA operations of AB in BEV and SABMiller. It is that for every entrepreneur, at any stage of his journey, Jabu has the unique insight of having experienced their struggle for success and longevity.
In addition to commentary from Jabu, we introduced a Master Class with Musa Kalenga. Musa is a man who needed little introduction, being a giant of industry and leader in his community. Musa is a strategic marketer, brand communication specialist, business leader and one of the Top 200 young South Africans voted by Mail and Guardian in 2012.
Musa’s professional business experience spans over twelve years, and includes building his first company from zero to R6,5 million in turnover by the age of 26.
